A video has been doing rounds on the Internet which shows a cobra laying eggs on a busy street in Karnataka. The video was prompt to go viral on the coal media. The clip shows the reptile laying eggs in the middle of the street.
As per a report, the video was shot by a teacher in Maddur town in Karnataka who found the snake in his home and then took it outside.
Not sure about what to do with the snake, a local snake expert, Prasanna Kumar was called to come and rescue the snake.
As he came, the Cobra made its way into the street in front of the home and started laying eggs. The snake expert caught hold of the snake and released it in a nearby forest. He took the eggs with him and said they would be released after they hatch.
A fact reveals that Female Cobras can lay anywhere from 20-40 eggs so it is most likely that the mother snake had not finished laying her hatch when she was moved.
In the footage, the egg can clearly be seen moving down the body of the snake and out of the vent.
