A heartbreaking incident was reported from Gujarat’s Surat yesterday, where a massive fire broke out in the Takshshila arcade of Sartana. About 40 students were stranded in this building. According to preliminary information, 20 people, including some teachers, were killed and more than 100 injured were reported in this accident.
At the time of the accident, the coaching class was going on the fourth floor of the building. The fire was so intense that students started jumping from the building to save their lives.
A video of this incident is viral on social media in which a person is seen helping the children stranded in the building with great caution. The person appearing in the video grabbed his hand and helped to protect some children from the fire.

The name of the person in the video is Ketan Jorawadia. The building in which the fire broke out, Ketan escorted to his second floor and, without regard to his life, was seen saving the children who were leaping out of the building to avoid the fire.
The videos have been posted on Twitter. It appears that Ketan was standing on the wall with his life on stake and helping students jump below the building.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and deputy CM have expressed grief at the incident. Along with this, the Gujarat government has ordered an inquiry into the incident. At the same time, the government has instructed the administration to submit the report within three days. Simultaneously, CM has announced compensation of Rs 4-4 lakh to the family of the deceased.
