In a shocking incident, a video clip showing militants playing cricket using rifles, probably AK47s as wickets was posted on Youtube on Thursday. Believed to be recorded in Southern Kashmir, the video showed six militants, including the cameraman, enjoying the game. The source of the video, which was posted on Youtube by an English TV news channel, is unknown.
The video was titled, ‘Kashmiri militants play cricket with AK47 as wicket’ and the description reads, the video appears to have been shot in South Kashmir. With guns slinging from their back, and recording their game on camera, the militants seem to be enjoying the match, with one of them taking a few shots. Although it is unknown which terror groups these avid fans of cricket and terrorism belonged to, the video surely emphasises the presence of terrorists in Kashmir, who can play cricket in their ‘leisure’ time, while Indian army jawans and civilians in the valley are subjected to their attacks.
