The England Football team manager’s job certainly has to be one of the worst in the world. Underperforming superstars, slow legacy players on high salaries, demanding fans and an unrelenting media pressure, but it was none of the above that led to the sacking of Sam Allardyce on Tuesday, after just one match as the manager.
An investigation by Daily Telegraph’s undercover reporters led to the now ex-Three Lions boss being caught on camera negotiating a speaking deal, supposed to be worth £400,000. Allardyce is filmed offering advice on how to dodge rules on third-party player ownership.
