Blinkit Delivery Harassment Allegation:A woman’s viral social media post accusing a delivery partner of making sexually inappropriate remarks after a Blinkit order has kinda reignited the whole talk on customer privacy, women’s safety and data protection, in India’s fast moving quick-commerce sector. The incident which showed up on LinkedIn and then sort of spread across social media pretty fast has led to a lot of pushback.
As per the woman’s version, the alleged incident happened not long after she ordered a personal wellness product through Blinkit, the Gurgaon-based quick-commerce player. She said that once the order was delivered, the delivery partner used her phone number to reach out to her directly and allegedly made inappropriate comments.

In her post she also mentioned that she had already placed a sexual wellness product order using the delivery app that same day. Before the delivery even arrived, the delivery partner allegedly called her and asked where she was.

“Ma’am, Blinkit order hai, kahan ho aap?” he asked. She said she replied casually, “Ghar par hoon bhaiya, aap bell baja dena.”

According to her post, he first asked, “Ma’am, ye kya cheez hai?” She replied, “Kuch bhi ho, aapko kya?” That is when the conversation allegedly became disturbing. The woman claimed the delivery partner then said, “Ye sab kyun use kar rahi ho ma’am, mujhe kar lo use.. bhot maza dunga.”
The post blew up fast online and people started reacting with real anger, saying there was alleged misuse of customer details. People kept asking why delivery executives still have access to personal phone numbers, and home addresses too. A lot of social media users even pushed for more strict checks in the background.

The woman also said, she had been using the platform for a long time and honestly, before this she never ran into anything like this. She added that the company customer support team apparently acknowledged her complaint and supposedly told her that some action was going to happen against the delivery executive involved.

Past Incidents
This whole dispute has also pulled back wider worries about safety incidents connected to delivery platforms, specially over the last few years. In a separate 2025 matter that NDTV reported, a Mumbai woman said that a Blinkit delivery executive touched her inappropriately while a parcel was being handed over. After that, police got involved and the public scrutiny kind of ramped up again.
Another viral complaint from 2025 came out of Delhi, where a customer alleged that a delivery agent kept abusing and threatening him on phone calls after the order was completed. The customer also said the executive misused access to his personal information, and allegedly told him “I know where you live,” which then sparked even more discussion around data privacy concerns and how customer protection policies should be handled.
