Following her victory in the semifinals of the ongoing Asian Olympic Qualifiers, Phogat secured the quota. The Indian defeated Laura Ganikyzy of Kazakhstan by technical advantage (10-0) in 4 minutes and 18 seconds.
In the final, the 29-year-old will confront Aktenge Keunimjaeva of Uzbekistan.
