Xiaomi is all set to launch a new phone from its sub-brand Redmi. Redmi’s flagship Note 7 features a 48MP dual camera with a 5MP sensor at the rear of the phone. The phone was earlier expected to have a release on February 12 in India which is not the case now. It is expected to have a delay in its launch.

The Redmi Note 7 gets a 6.3-inch display with an All Display screen on the front and a glass back with a dual-lens camera mounted alongside fingerprint scanner. The screen resolution of Redmi Note 7 is 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9. The Redmi Note 7 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.

The Note 7 gets a dual camera lens setup of 48-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4. The phone also gets a 13MP HDR front camera.

The Note 7 gets 3 RAM variants – 3GB of RAM, 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM. The 3GB of RAM variant gets 32GB of internal storage, while the 4GB and 6GB of RAM get 64GB of internal storage. Internal memory is expandable via microSD and can be increased to up to 256GB.

The Redmi Note 7 is stuffed with a non-removable Li-Po 4000mAh battery having a battery life of 108 hours as per the reports with additional support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 support for fast charging. The smartphone gets a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will be featuring three colour variants reportedly which are Black, Blue and Twilight Gold.

The base version of the Redmi Note 7 could start as low as Rs. 9,999, while the top-spec variant may cost around Rs. 11,999. Also, the Redmi Note series may be launched only on the Mi home page, and Flipkart. Redmi Note 7 India launch may take some more time and the company hasn’t sent out any media invite for the launch event.
