Celebrity death was another worst thing that happened this year as we have lost some of the biggest heroes and legends ever known, including David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Terry Wogan.
Brexit
It was really sad to hear that the United Kingdom had voted to leave the European Union. Notably, only 51.9% of the population voted to leave. The percentage raised a significant question that was it really a democratic decision?
While the value of the pound has considerably dropped, post-Brexit trade deals would be negotiated and debated for at least another two years. The entire population is unaware about what’s going to happen and how they will be personally affected in the long run.
The Indian government gave a shock to the entire nation on Nov 8, when it announced scrapping of ₹500 and ₹1000 rupee notes. It is been over a month now but the cash crunch is still continued, affecting the day to day life of people badly.
The death of Harambe
In a horrific act, a 17 year-old gorilla, Harambe, was shot dead by a member of staff at Cincinnati Zoo. The incident caused huge controversy and chaos worldwide. The cruel shooting of this poor animal is yet another contributor to a terrible year.
