Despite not being part of the ongoing season, former Indian pacer Ashok Dinda has been part of the controversies and heavy trolling. Every time a bowler went out for too many runs, the fans came out to Dinda saying that the bowler has joined ‘Dinda Academy’. Things went out of hand when Royal Challengers Bangalore’s official Twitter handle followed the trend too and mocked the senior cricketer.

However, former fast bowler broke his silence on Thursday shut down trollers by giving befitting reply in his social media post.

Taking to his Facebook, 35-year-old shared an image showcasing him as the leading wicket-taker for Bengal in Ranji Trophy for the last 9 seasons, except one. He further added that he has 400 first-class wickets.

Dinda in his post said, “Haters, helping you get you statistics right. Stop and stare well your opinion is not my reality. So shut your hating selves and keep me out of your mouth.”

Dinda’s anger came out a day after Royal Challengers Bangalore joined the trolling army on twitter and mocked Dinda after Umesh Yadav defended 27 runs in the final over against Kings XI Punjab. However, they received flak from the fans and soon deleted the tweet.

Dinda last played for India way back in 2013 during the home series against England. He managed to play for India in only 13 ODIs and 9 T20Is, picking up a total of 29 wickets across formats. He last played in IPL in 2017 where he had decent record in the IPL picking 68 wickets from 78 games at an economy-rate of 8.22. A
