AAP leader, Kumar Vishwas, took a jibe at those who pelted stones at Congress vice-president, Rahul Gandhi, calling them cowards. Gandhi’s convoy was attacked in Gujarat on Friday. Vishwas took to Twitter to lash out and wrote, “Agar aap ‘aiso’ par bhi pathhar phenk rahe hain to app sachmuch ‘darpok’ hai (You are indeed coward if you are throwing stones on someone like these). Though he did not name the leaders, it was obvious where his words were directed at.

On Friday, Gandhi was attacked by stone pelters and was shown black flags, when he was visiting flood-hit areas in Gujarat. The Congress leaders had been alleging that the attacks were carried out by the BJP activists. However, the BJP hit back claiming that locals were angry over the absence of Congress MLAs who were flown to Bengaluru by the Congress in a bid to keep its flock together ahead of the Rajya Sabha elections.
Congress spokesperson, Randeep Surjewala confirmed that BJP had carried out the attack. He shared the pictures of the incident on Twitter. ‘BJP goons attack Cong VP Rahulji’s car in Lal Chowk, Dhanera, Banaskanta, Gujarat. Disgusting & disgraceful’, he had tweeted.
