108 different forms of Lord Ganesha: Numerous pandals have been erected in Indore in preparation for the Ganesh Chaturthi holiday, which will be celebrated for 10 days starting on Tuesday. With 108 various incarnations of Lord Ganesha on exhibit in one of the pandals, which is located in the city’s Jairampur Colony, it has become a popular tourist destination.

Anil Aaga, the secretary of the Jairampur Colony public festival committee, told ANI, “We have been hosting Ganesh Utsav at the colony for the past 40 years. We set the Ganesha idol up on a different theme every year. Lord Ganesha has received 108 various avatars this year.

The artists who created these idols are from Bengal. According to him, the tricolour idol was created the previous year in honour of the 75th anniversary of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Priyanshi Shukla, a devotee who visited the pandal, told ANI, “It is a very original notion. We have never seen anything like the 108 distinct Ganesha idols.
They had never before seen such a variety of shapes together, according to other worshippers. Another pandal with the theme of Chandrayaan has been built up in the city’s Sindhi colony in the meantime.
Vishal Mata, a resident of Sindhi Colony, told ANI that each year, youth Sindhi associations create pandals with various themes. A pandal with the theme of Chandrayaan has been created this year in light of the success of Chandrayaan-3.
