Sunjay, who was married to Karisma Kapoor for 11 years before they separated in 2014, married Priya in a grand ceremony on April 13 last year. It wasn’t until a few months ago that Priya’s pregnancy news hit the internet and stunned everyone. After the couple threw a beautiful baby shower a few weeks ago, the duo welcomed their first born this week.

Unique isn’t it? Well, it has a special meaning. Azarius is a Hebrew name. The unique name means ‘God has helped.’ It is evident that Sunjay and Priya have put a lot of thought into the name and we think it is a wonderful name. We congratulate the couple!
While this is the couple’s first baby together, Sunjay is already a father of two children with Karisma. The ex-lovebirds are parents to Samaira and Kiaan. Following the divorce, Karisma was granted the custody of the children while Sunjay has permission to visit the children.
Priya, on the other hand, was married to hotelier Vikram Chatwal. The duo share a daughter, Safira.
For those who are unaware, Sunjay and Priya met on a flight and dated for five years before they tied the knot. Sharing her loves story, Priya said, “During the flight, we realised that neither of us was what our public perception had been made out to be. The barrier of those misconceptions came down and we kept in touch.”
