Delhi metro’s violet line starts from Kashmere Gate and connects to Raja Nahar Singh and Faridabad. This line has 32 stations. Interchanges of this line are available on Kashmere Gate and Central Secretariat at yellow line, Mandi House at Blue line, Lajpat Nagar at Pink line and Kalkaji Mandir at Magenta line.
The violet line opened on July 12, 2009, but was supposed to open in March 2010. After the yellow line that connects to Gurgaon, violet line is the second line to cross the Delhi-Haryana border.
