Congress MLA Alpesh Thakor, may join Bharatiya Janata Party soon. Along with Alpesh, many other Congress MLAs are also expected to switch over to the BJP.
It has being reported that Alpesh could be made a minister directly in the BJP government.
It is noteworthy Thakor had accused the party of sidelining him only a few days ago. He had accused that the Congress is ignoring him and also his community. Though reports are surfacing that he is soon to join the BJP, Alpesh is refusing of any developments. The ruling party could have a cabinet meeting this evening.
In the expansion of the Council of Ministers, BJP’s MLA Hakubha Jadeja is expected to be made a minister. Hakuba had earlier resigned from the Congress during the Rajya Sabha elections and had crossed over to the BJP. Following which in 2017 Gujarat Assembly Elections, Jadesh had won on the BJP ticket.
