On Thursday evening, Narendra Modi along with 57 other MP’s took oath as part of the Council of Ministers at Rashtrapati Bhavan. There were many surprising cabinet members that were chosen, among them was Subrahmanyan Jaishankar who served as Foreign Secretary from 2015-2018 was appointed as Minister of External affairs in Modi’s Cabinet 2.0
As S Jaishankar grabbed eyeballs on the announcement of his portfolio, his son Dhruva also drew attention towards himself with his tweet. It seems that as soon as Jaishankar was announced to b the minister of External Affairs, Dhruva received a request regarding help with visa or passport.
Dhruva first tweeted, “Dude. Wrong Twitter handle.” In a second tweet, he said, “And before anyone asks, I can absolutely not help anyone with their passport, visa, or getting-you-out-of-a-foreign-prison problems.” He added, “I have plenty of those problems myself (other than the prisons – I try to stay clear of those).”

And before anyone asks, I can absolutely not help anyone with their passport, visa, or getting-you-out-of-a-foreign-prison problems.
I have plenty of those problems myself (other than the prisons – I try to stay clear of those).

Sushma Swaraj was appreciated a number of times by PM Modi for making the Ministry of External Affairs accessible to one and all. She is believed to have skipped joining the Cabinet due to health issues.
