Delhi’s air quality worsened on Thursday, December 4, and is expected to further deteriorate in parts of the city by Friday as temperatures continue to fall along and wind speed remains low

According to an Air Quality Index (AQI), the major pollutants PM 2.5 & PM 10 were at 234 & 229 respectively, (‘Poor’ category) in the Lodhi Road area. The AQI in Ghaziabad’s Vasundhara read at 406.

According to reports, SAFAR predicted that AQI is likely to deteriorate to the higher end of a very poor category on Thursday and predicted that it might touch severe levels in some areas on Friday.
