Pakistan Muslim League (PM-L) senior leader and former petroleum minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will run the PML-N government as interim prime minister of Pakistan until Nawaz Sharif’s brother Shahbaz is elected as member of parliament, Pakistan media reported.
“Abbasi would serve as the chief executive of Pakistan for 45 days. In the meantime, Punjab chief minister, Shehbaz Sharif would contest elections to make his way into the country’s National Assembly.
