Ramadan 2021 India: The month of Ramadan (Ramzan) is considered to be very sacred for Muslims and it comes in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is considered very holy and Muslims all around the world practice fasting over this one-month period.
The month of Ramadan comes 10 days before the English calendar. As per the Islamic beliefs, God forgives the past sins of the devotees who prays and fasts with faithful intentions.

This year Ramadan is expected to begin from the evening of Monday, April 12, and will conclude on Tuesday, May 11. Eid al-Fitr will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
History of this holy Month
This holy month is called Shab-e-Kaer. The belief is that on this day Allah honored his devotees with “Quran Sharif”.
Fasting in Ramadan
- Sahari: Sehari is of great importance, it has to rise in the morning hours before the sun rises and the fast starts only after eating. After that, you can’t eat or drink anything all day.
- Iftar: Fasting is opened in the evening after the sun sinks. Whose time is fixed.
- Taraweeh: Taraweeh prayers are performed at a certain time at night, it is about 9 o’clock. Also, the Quran is read in The Mosque. It is done during all the month of Ramadan and then Eid is celebrated 29 or 30 days after the moon.
