WBCHSE HS 12th Result 2022 Live: West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has announced the WBCHSE 12th result 2022 today on June 10, 2022. The officials have declared the WB HS result 2022 at 11 am in a press conference. Now, the West Bengal HS result 2022 link will be activated on wbresults.nic.in at 12 noon.

This year, WBCHSE Class 12 exams started on April 2 and ended on April 26, 2022 in the state. The examination was conducted offline by following all COVID19 guidelines issued by the state and central government. Around 8 lakh students appeared for Class 12 board exams in the state.

The WB 12th exams 2023 the exam will be held in the full syllabus. Next year, the West Bengal Class 12 exams will not be held in home centres.
This year boys have overperformed girls with the pass percentage of 90.19 percent, while girls students pass percentage is 86.58 percent.
The first rank holder of the WBCHSE HS 12th board is Adisha Devsharma, a student of Dinhata Sonidevi Jain High School in coochbehar. She scored 99.6 per cent marks.
Four students came third after scoring 496 marks (99.2 per cent). They are Rohin Sen from Patha Bhawan in Kolkata, Soham Das from Hooghly Collegiate School in Hooghly district, Avik Das from Katwa Kashiram Das Institution in East Burdwan district, and Parichay Pari Jalchak Nateswari Netaji Vidyayatan in West Midnapore district.
East Medinipur topped among the districts in pass percentage. The pass rate is the highest in seven districts, i.e. East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Jhargram, South 24 Parganas, Purulia, Kalimpong, and Bankura.

Last year, the WB12th result was announced on July 22, 2021. The WB Board has cancelled the CLass 12 exams and the result was declared on the basis of alternative assessment.
WBCHSE has lowered the cut-off to 35 per cent in certain subjects for students to want to opt for science-based elective subjects in Class 11. The minimum percentage of marks required to take Science-based subjects in WB Class 11 has been reduced from 45 per cent.
The WBCHSE class 12th result will be announced via a press conference at Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor, Vidyasagar Bhavan of the council. The press conference is scheduled to begin at 11 am onwards.
As per media reports, a total of 7.45 Lakh students are waiting for WB HS results 2022 to be declared today on 10th June 2022. These students appeared for the Higher Secondary or Uccha Madhyamik Exam held from 2nd to 26th April 2022.

As many as 86.60 per cent of students who took the exams, passed. A total of 114 students have made it to the top 10 list. The top-most rank is being jointly held by Arnab Gharai of Ramharipur Ramakrishna Mission High School in Bankura and Raunak Mandal of Burdwan CMS School.
To clear the exam, students need to score a minimum of 33 per cent mark in each subject and overall. They will also have to score 20 per cent marks in practical exams. The minimum aggregate mark to pass the Uccha Madhyamik exam is 272. Further, to obtain the first division, candidates will have to get at least 480 marks. Those obtaining marks above 360 will get a second division while marks above 272 will fall in third division.
