In India, 10 grammes of 24 carat gold priced Rs 59,310, whereas 10 grammes of 22 carat gold cost Rs 54,330 as of August 4.
In India’s major cities as well, there were no changes in gold prices. The price of gold in the national capital, Delhi, is Rs 60,100 for 10 grammes of 24 carat gold and Rs 55,100 for 10 grammes of 22 carat gold. In Kolkata, the price of gold is Rs 59,950 for 10 grammes of 24 carat gold and Rs 54,950 for 10 grammes of 22 carat gold.
While 22 carat gold (10 grammes) costs Rs 55,950 in Mumbai, 24 carat gold (10 grammes) costs Rs 59,950. The current price of gold in Chennai is Rs 52,285 for 10 grammes of 24 carat gold and Rs 47,927 for 10 grammes of 22 carat gold.
The cost of the yellow metal has dropped by Rs 160 in Bhubaneswar today. While 10 grammes of 24 karat gold cost Rs 59,950, 10 grammes of 22 karat gold cost Rs 54,950.
