National Pets for Veterans Day 2023: Everything began with a canine named Bear. Bear was a comedian and understood how to interact with the veterans in a manner that catered to their specific requirements. When necessary, he would recline peacefully on the bed or elevate his limbs to inspire others. As a result, numerous veterans inquired whether Bear could be brought home with them.
The proprietor of Bear questioned why therapy was conducted indoors for one hour per week when it could be conducted at home around the clock. As a result of Bear’s eulogies, his proprietor believed she could assist additional veterans in locating their own bears for rehabilitation purposes. On October 21, we will honor Bear and all other service animals in an effort to raise awareness.
