West Bengal HS Result 2025: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially declared the Class 12th HS Result 2025 on May 7, 2025 at result.wb.gov.in. Students who appeared for the examination can now visit the official website to check and download their scorecards.
“WB Council of HS Education is going to publish the result of HS Examination, 2025 on 07th May, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. through a Press Conference to be held at Vidaysagar Bhavan, Saltlake, Kokata-700091.,” the WBCHSE said in its notification.
“The results can be viewed and downloaded from the below mentioned websites (URL)/Mobile App at and from 2:00 pm on the same day.,” it added.

This year, more than 5 lakh students from across the state appeared for the WBCHSE Class 12 board exams. The exams were held between March 3 and March 18, 2025, and they took place in around 2,089 exam centres. How to check result through SMS?
If students can’t check their West Bengal Class 12 result online, they can use SMS. Open the message app, type WB12, give a space, and enter your roll number. Then send the message to 56070. You will get your result directly on your phone through SMS.
For the original mark sheets and pass certificates, schools will collect them from 55 distribution centres across the state. The distribution will begin at 10 am on May 8, 2025. Students can collect the hard copies from their schools after that.
“The Head of the Institutions/Teacher-in-Charges are requested to distribute the mark sheets and certificates, collected from the distribution centers among their students on the same day i.e. on 08.05.2025 positively,” the notfification said.
