The story unfolds in the 17th century during the Mughal empire. Pawan Kalyan plays the heroic outlaw and freedom fighter Veera Mallu, who confronts Mughal oppression and becomes a symbol of resistance. While the film’s story is crafted with fictional heroism amid historical events, it will highlight Veera Mallu as a Robin Hood type character who protects the underprivileged and fight back imperial dominance.
The journey of Veera Mallu is an exciting, eventful and dangerous where our hero encounters not only homologous Mughal head officers but perhaps also Aurangzeb in person. The plot even has threads of stealing the famed Kohinoor diamond, and there are baseball undertones.
