OnePlus Pad Lite Features: What we know so far about the launch

OnePlus Pad Lite Features: OnePlus Pad Lite might be filling in the gaps in its tablet lineup. After introducing the flagship-level Pad 3 just a week ago, new renders now show what’s expected to be a lower-cost alternative.

The Pad Lite isn’t aimed at competing with premium models. It takes cues from the earlier OnePlus Pad Go, both in design and in target market.

Visually, it’s just another standard affair. On the outside, it features sharp edges, narrow bezels, and a rear camera module with a centered, circular shape. There’s apparently an advanced folio case accessory in development, with integrated kickstand. The tablet will likely be available in one Aero Blue color.

Design & Build

Leaks from 91Mobiles and @OnLeaks reveal a somewhat big design similar to the OnePlus Pad Go, including flat sides, a relative thin bottom bezel, and a centered round rear camera array — all enclosed in that cool matte Aero Blue colorway. A matching tablet folio cover with integrated kickstand looks bundled or sold with the slate. It measures 254.9 × 166.5 × 7.4 mm, weighing about 539 g, slightly lighter than its predecessor.

Display & Cameras

The Pad Lite could be loaded with an 11‑inch Full HD (1920×1080) LCD display with 90 Hz refresh rate for casual browsing and content consumption. Camera-wise, both the rear and front shooters are modest 5 MP units — a step down from the 8 MP duo on the Pad Go — but adequate for video calls and occasional snapshots.

Performance & Battery

Under the hood lies the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset (itself coupled with a Mali G57 GPU), providing a modest leg-up in performance over the Helio G99 found on the Pad Go, albeit without any 5G connectivity. It includes 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, which may meet most everyday needs.

Battery life gets a solid boost with a 9,340 mAh cell noticeably larger than the 8,000 mAh on the Pad Go promising longer screen time between charges.

Software: OnePlus Pad Lite Features

It’s expected to ship with Android 15 layered with OxygenOS 15.0.1, offering OnePlus’s typical feature-rich interface, smoother multitasking, and updated security enhancements

Pricing & Availability

Launching first in India, as an even cheaper sub ₹20,000 (~$230/€200) option to the Pad 3, reports suggest it will launch well under ₹20,000. Official release date and final pricing still to be determined, so stay tuned.

We expect OnePlus to officially announce the Pad Lite in the very near future – probably first in India, with a global rollout to follow shortly thereafter. Look forward to launch information, price validation, and a full hands-on review.
