CSBC Bihar Driver Constable 2025: The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has started the hiring process for Bihar Driver Constable posts from July 21, 2025. All interested people who want to apply can go to the official website apply-csbc.com and fill out the form. The last date to submit the application is August 20, 2025, so candidates have a full month to get everything ready and apply on time. This new government job drive aims to fill up 4,361 posts for Driver Constables in Bihar Police.
These posts come under Level 3 of pay scale, so the salary will be between ₹21,700 and ₹69,100. This is a full-time police job and gives a proper pay scale with all the usual government benefits. But it’s not just for anyone.

Who is Eligible?
Only those who have passed Intermediate (10+2) or something equal to that from a recognised school or board can apply. On top of that, the person must also have a valid driving license either LMV or HMV. The license should be at least one year old before the advertisement date. So only those who already have some driving experience can take part.
CSBC Bihar Driver Constable 2025: Age Rules and Relaxation
The CSBC will calculate the age of candidates based on the birthdate written in their 10th or similar certificate. That’s the proof they will accept for checking age. There are different age rules depending on which group you belong to. For unreserved category people, the age must be between 20 and 25 years.

Male candidates from Backward Class (BC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC) can apply up to 27 years. For BC and EBC women, the limit is 28 years. SC, ST and Transgender candidates can apply till the age of 30 years. Also, there’s some extra relief for people who worked before as Driver Constables in Bihar Police under contract. They will get the same number of years as their contract added to the age limit.
