Bihar Assembly Election Results 2025: The assembly polls in the eastern Indian state of Bihar were held in two phases: the first on 6 November 2025, and the second on 11 November 2025. Counting‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ of votes is planned for 14 November 2025, and the results are anticipated to be declared on the same day late evening.

The time for exit-poll prediction release is equally well defined; as per the rules of the Election Commission of India (ECI), no poll can be published until all phases of voting are over, that is, after the second phase on 11 November.

Voters Turnout

The 2025 election turned out to be the one with the most record participation: according to the ECI, turnout was close to 66.9%, the highest ever in the state’s history.

Only for the second phase, the turnout was around 68.8%, and the district of Katihar had a participation rate of over 78%.

Such a high participation rate indicates that the electorate is very active and therefore the result is going to be very ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌interesting.

Bihar Exit Poll 2025: People’s Pulse Predicts 145-160 Seats for NDA in Bihar Assembly Elections

Bihar Assembly Election 2025: Exit Polls, and Predictions

Most exit‐poll surveys for 2025 pointed to a comfortable victory for the ruling coalition, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar.

Some representative projections:

One survey (by agency Dainik Bhaskar) placed the NDA at 145–160 seats, while its main rival Mahagathbandhan (MGB) was projected at only 73–91 seats.

Another agency (Matrize) predicted NDA at 147–167 seats, MGB at 70–90.

A “poll of polls” aggregated numbers showed the NDA in the ~140–160 range, with MGB trailing far behind.

2020 vs 2025 Comparison

In the 2020 Bihar assembly election, the NDA secured 125 seats while the Mahagathbandhan got 110 seats (in the 243-seat assembly).

Key comparisons for 2025:

The majority mark remains 122 seats in the 243-member assembly.

Given the exit‐poll projections (140+ seats for NDA), the scale of victory in 2025 appears likely to be larger than in 2020.

Also, new political dynamics are at play: e.g., the emergence of the Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) led by strategist Prashant Kishor is expected to make inroads though exit polls suggest a weak debut (0–5 seats).

All these set 2025’s election up as not just a repeat, but potentially a decisive shift in Bihar’s political landscape.

Where, and How to Watch the Results?

For anyone wishing to follow the results closely (for example, from Hisar or any other location):

Major news channels and live‐stream platforms will broadcast the counting live on 14 November 2025.

Exit poll results will start coming after 6:30 pm on the evening of 11 Nov (after the second phase), but official results will only be on 14 Nov.

Online portals of major newspapers and election trackers (for example, the websites of the Economic Times, Indian Express, etc) will offer live updates, interactive maps, seat‐by‐seat tracking.

It’s advisable to verify real‐time data from reputable sources and avoid relying solely on social media speculation.
