Bihar Exit Poll Prediction 2025: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) seems ready for a solid win in the Bihar 2025 Assembly elections. An early exit poll by People’s Pulse has suggested that the BJP and JD(U) could hold on to power in the state once again.
NDA Predicted to Retain Power
According to the People’s Pulse exit poll, the NDA may continue its rule in Bihar with a clear majority in the 243-member Assembly. The report says that strong voter turnout and support in key areas have given the alliance an upper hand. If the predictions come true, the ruling parties are likely to form the next government without much struggle.
but exit polls only show early trends and are not official numbers. The real results will be announced by the Election Commission after the counting of votes on November 14. Experts say these polls give an idea of public mood but cannot replace the actual result.
The NDA needs 122 seats to form a majority.
| Parties | Prediction By People’s Pulse |
| NDA | 145-160 |
| Mahagathbandhan | 73-91 |
| Jan Suraaj Party | 0-3 |
| Others | 5-7 |
High Voter Turnout in Both Phases
The Bihar election happened in two parts on November 6 and 11. These two rounds covered all 243 seats in the state. In the first phase, 64.66% people voted in 121 areas, and in the second phase, 67.14% people voted in 122 areas.
JMM’s All-Women Brigade Challenges BJP’s Star Power in Ghatshila By-Election
This strong participation shows that people in Bihar were very active in the democratic process. Bihar has around 7.42 to 7.43 crore registered voters, making it one of the biggest states in India in terms of voter size.
Alliances and Candidates in the Race
The NDA has fielded candidates in almost every constituency, focusing on communities like OBC, EBC, SC, and Dalits. Under the NDA’s seat-sharing plan, the JD(U) alone has announced 101 candidates. The Mahagathbandhan, on the other hand, has also made careful seat arrangements. The RJD has released a list of 143 candidates, while the Congress and other alliance partners are contesting the remaining seats.
The competition between the two alliances has been tight, with both sides claiming that they will win a majority. The final decision now rests with the people, whose votes will be counted on November 14.
Understanding Opinion Polls and Exit Polls
Many people get confused between opinion polls and exit polls. An opinion poll happens before voting and tries to understand who people plan to vote for. These surveys often change because voters can still make up their minds before election day.
An exit poll, however, is done after voting is complete. In this, voters are asked who they actually voted for. This makes exit polls more accurate, though they are still just predictions.
