In a stunning press conference, Attorney General Pam Bondi called his organization “one of the most prolific and violent drug-trafficking organizations in this world.”
Murder of a Key Witness
The latest indictment, unsealed in November 2025, ups the stakes dramatically. Wedding is charged not just with drug trafficking and money laundering, but also with ordering the murder of a federal witness.
According to prosecutors, in January 2025, the witness was gunned down at a restaurant in Medellín, Colombia before he could testify.
How did Wedding allegedly find him? The indictment claims he used a controversial Canadian website called “The Dirty News” to post photographs of the witness (and his wife), effectively aiding location of the target.
He reportedly placed a multimillion-dollar bounty on the witness, coordinating with others to track him down.
Bondi noted that “He is the largest distributor of cocaine in Canada,” while FBI Director Kash Patel said his agency is determined to bring Wedding to justice.
The reward has been increased from $10 million to $15 million for Wedding’s capture, with additional rewards for information leading to the arrests of unknown killers who murdered the potential witness.
“Ryan Wedding and his associates allegedly imported tons of cocaine each year from Colombia through Mexico and onto the streets of US communities. His criminal activities and violent actions will not be tolerated, and this is a clear signal that the FBI will use our resources and expertise to find Ryan Wedding and bring him and his associates to justice,” Patel announced at the joint Washington, D.C. news conference with Bondi.
“We will not rest until his name is taken off the FBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted List, and his narco-trafficking organization lies dismantled,” Bondi boldly declared.

Web of Criminal Network
The scale of the conspiracy is vast. Along with Wedding, ten other individuals have been arrested under a sweeping federal indictment.
Key names include:
Deepak Balwant Paradkar, a Canadian criminal lawyer, who allegedly counseled Wedding that murdering the witness could lead to the dismissal of charges and block his extradition.
Gursewak Singh Bal, associated with The Dirty News site, accused of helping identify the witness in exchange for payment.
Edwin Basora-Hernandez, a Canadian reggaeton musician, who reportedly helped Wedding’s network locate the witness.
Rolan Sokolovski, described as a “hired sicario” from Toronto, allegedly received a bejeweled necklace as a bonus for his role in the murder.
Wedding is believed to be hiding in Mexico under the protection of the notorious Sinaloa Cartel. He reportedly uses more than 30 aliases including “El Jefe,” “Public Enemy,” and “James Conrad King.”
He was added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list in March 2025, and the U.S. government has now raised the reward for information leading to his arrest to USD 15 million.
