Their manager, P Nishanth Kumar, has reportedly filed a complaint with Hyderabad Cyber Crime authorities over alleged fake content, manipulated screenshots, impersonation and online harassment targeting the couple. The complaint comes after their appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan 9.
According to a statement from the actors’ team, links to the posts and other supporting material have been submitted to the authorities. The team wants the content to be examined and the allegations investigated. It has also made it clear that the complaint isn’t meant to stop people from sharing their opinions or giving genuine criticism. The main concern is the spread of false information and online activity that may break the law.

The issue began after the couple spoke about their relationship and marriage on Koffee With Karan 9. During the conversation, Rashmika recalled telling Vijay, “Let’s get married.” Vijay replied, “Okay, you ask me 100 times.”
Rashmika also said she had asked him for an entire year before he agreed. Vijay explained that he wanted time to think about the practical side of marriage before making such a big decision.
Their comments received mixed reactions on social media. Some viewers felt Vijay’s response made Rashmika appear more interested in the relationship. He was called a “red flag” by some users, while others criticised the way he spoke about their marriage.
