Highly acclaimed movie and one of India’s most successful film at Cannes Film Festival Masaan’s script is now available for download upon registration.
Set in Varanasi, this movie tells the tale of love and longing and deals with emotions of vulnerability, creation and destruction. The excellent script written by Varun Grover and Avinash Arun’s fine cinematography make for a delightful viewing of the movie.
The film deals that with the lives of four characters, was first screened at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and won the FIPRESCI Prize and the prize under the ‘Promising Future’ category.
This honour has been previously bestowed on filmmakers like Satyajit Ray, Woody Allen, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Jafar Panahi, Jean-Luc Godard and Roman Polanski have been awarded this prestigious honour before. Its director Neeraj Ghaywan also won the National Award for Best Debut Film of a Director in 2016.
Jointly produced by Drishyam Films, Macassar Productions, Sikhya Entertainment, Phantom Films, Arte France Cinema and Pathé Productions, this remarkable movie was a French-Indian co-production.
