Bollywood actors Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh on Friday joined the cast of ‘Adipurush’ as Sita and Lakshman. Kriti took to social media to announce the news. She posed besides Prabhas, who plays Ram, director Om Raut and Sunny Singh in the picture.
“A new journey begins.. #ADIPURUSH. This one is too special.. Proud, honoured and beyond excited to be a part of this magical world”, Kriti captioned the post.

About Adipurush:
Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayan that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. Prabhas will be seen in the role of Lord Ram, while Kriti Sanon will be playing Sita. Saif Ali Khan will again play a negative character after Tanhaji as he will be seen as Ravana. Sunny Singh is Lakshman in the film.
The film is slated to release on August 11, 2022. It will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Om, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair.
