It is no secret that Aditya Chopra isn’t comfortable facing the camera, even though he is one of the most prominent filmmakers. The filmmaker, who is married to actress Rani Mukerji, prefers to stay behind the camera than in front of it. There have been instances wherein Aditya is seen hiding his face while the paparazzi were on duty. But in a change of events, the producer-director let the lenses capture him, over the weekend. The Yash Raj Films head was snapped making his way to Karan Johar’s residence with Rani by his side. The duo was headed to the KJo’s home to join other Bollywood stars and celebrate Hiroo Johar’s birthday.
In photos from outside Karan’s residence, Aditya is not waving at the cameras but he’s not covering his face either. The Befikre director was seen looking away from the cameras and hiding his face a little as he made his way to the party. The filmmaker was seen wearing a black shirt, seated in the backseat of his car.

Meanwhile, Rani partially smiled for the cameras. The actress was seen twinning with hubby Adi at the party. She held a pink pillow in her lap while her cat-eyed specs got caught our attention. The actress’s big wedding ring also stood out in the picture.
Speaking about his aversion towards the camera, Rani had once explained, “It’s not as if he is paranoid about the cameras. He just doesn’t want to be photographed. He had told me after our marriage, ‘God, when I fell in love with you, I didn’t stop to think that I was in love with an actress. Now, because of you, people are attaching my pictures.”
