Day 9 Box Office Collection Of OMG 2

Advanced Booking for OMG 2: The wait for the sequel to the 2012 hit “OMG: Oh my God,” starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar, is over as OMG 2 is scheduled to hit theatres on Friday, August 1 as the advanced booking for OMG 2 has begun. Akshay played the part of Krishna in the first movie, and was supposed to play Shiva in the sequel, but his role has since been modified to that of the Messenger of God.

The movie will compete alongside Rajinikanth’s Jailer and Gadar 2 in theatres. OMG 2 has fewer advance booking than the prior two films. OMG 2 only managed to sell 7,700 tickets across three national chains on the opening day, according to media reports, despite the fact that the official numbers for pre booking have not yet been released. According to another report from Sacnilk.com, the movie sold 26,000 seats on its opening day and may bring in a total of 80 lakhs. According to Koimoi.com, the Akshay Kumar-starring movie only brought in 82 lakhs in advance booking for Day 1.

Using Gadar 2 as a comparison, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that the movie’s advance ticket sales have 76,600 bookings for its opening day. Additionally, reports claim that Gadar 2 has more screens than OMG 2. OMG 2 has 2000 screens in India compared to Gadar 2’s 3500, according to a report from Times Now. Speaking of OMG 2, the movie has 300 screens outside of India.

The censor board gave the movie a ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate, and 13 minutes of the movie were cut. However, according to a report by E-Times, OMG 2 has been given a 12A certificate in the UAE. A 12A certificate indicates that viewers over the age of 12 may view the movie.

On August 3, the movie’s trailer was made public. The character played by Pankaj Tripathi is seen in the video waging a legal battle against the educational system in an effort to get his son justice. A lawyer is portrayed by Yami Gautam in the movie. While Akshay won’t be portrayed as Lord Shiva but rather a representative of God, Pankaj will be portraying Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a devotee of Lord Shiva. A voiceover requests Nandi to take someone from Shiv-Gan to assist the devotees as the video opens.

Since the release of the movie’s posters and trailer, “OMG 2,” directed by Amit Rai, has remained largely unnoticed. According to several accounts, the censor board delayed the movie because they wanted to be extra cautious given the religious nature of the movie.
