As #MeToo allegations continue to pile up, several stars and celebrities have begun to distance themselves from the accused. With Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan taking strong steps against the filmmakers who have been accused of sexual harassment recently, Ajay Devgan, too, has decided to stand for any woman who has been wronged.
Earlier this year, director Luv Ranjan announced his new film with Ajay Devgan and Ranbir Kapoor leading the cast, the shooting of which was said to begin next year. However, On Friday, the director was implicated in a #MeToo account after the unnamed actress accused the filmmaker of misconduct during a script reading session of Pyaar Ka Punchnama.
As soon as the allegations to Ranjan sparked the controversy, Ajay Devgan, who is collaborating with Luv Ranjan for two projects – De De Pyaar De and an untitled film, clearly stated that if anyone has wronged any woman that he would not stand for it.
While there are speculations of Ajay to step back from working with the accused, the question remains for Ranbir Kapoor that whether he will continue to work in Ranjan’s next?

Ajay’s move came after director Luv Ranjan was accused of sexually harassing an actress during the test look of his film Pyaar Ka Punchnama.
The actress in an interview to a leading daily opened up on the nightmarish experience and said that the filmmaker asked her to strip to underwear as he wanted to see her body. She added that he also asked her personal questions like ‘Are you a virgin’ and ‘Do you masturbate’.
