The revised academic calendar for the academic year 2020-21 has been issued by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The academic calendar consists of several details related to the holidays and resuming date of classes.
The classes for existing PGDM and PGMC students in all affiliated colleges will start from July 15.
According to the official academic calendar issued by the council, the classes for students who are enrolled in PGMC and PGDM courses will be going to resume from July 15 and the classes for all other students will be held from August 16.
The new session for recently admitted students of PGDM and PGMC courses in all AICTE affiliated colleges will start from August 1, 2020 and will end on July 31, 2021.
The academic session and teaching process, including lateral entry to second-year courses for newly admitted students will begin from September 15, as per the academic calendar issued by the technical education regulator.
Meanwhile, several important dates of the admission process in AICTE affiliated institutes have also been released in the revised academic calendar. The deadline to complete the first round of counselling is August 30. The deadline for the second round of counselling would be September 10.

The final date up to which students can be admitted against vacancies is September 15, according to the revised calendar. The date for cancellation of seats for PGDM and PGMC courses with the full refund has been fixed as August 5.
Students can be admitted into open and distance learning courses between August 16, 2020 and February 15, 2021, as per the dates released by AICTE.
