Air India Express Launches Kolkata to Imphal & Kochi Flights: An airline official confirmed that Air India Express will begin non-stop flights to Imphal and Kochi from Kolkata in April. “Flights to Imphal will operate daily, and flights to Kochi will operate six days a week,” he added.

A flight from Kolkata to Imphal will depart at 7 a.m. and arrive in Manipur’s capital at 8.05 a.m. The return flight will depart at 8.35 a.m. and arrive at Kolkata at 10.20 a.m.
The Kolkata-Kochi flight will depart at 11.25 am and arrive at 2.35 pm, while the return flight will depart at 3.05 pm and land at 6.10 pm.
During the summer schedule, Air India Express will operate more than 360 daily flights, with international services increasing by more than 20%.

A merger with AIX Connect (formerly AirAsia India) is in progress, and both carriers’ flights are included on the schedule.
During the summer schedule, Tata Group-owned Air India Express will offer more than 360 daily departures.
Compared to last year’s summer schedule, there will be an increase of over 25 per cent in domestic flights and more than 20 percent in overseas services. There will also be new seating categories on Air India Express.
Meanwhile, the airline has recently announced the introduction of four fare products – Xpress Lite (cabin baggage only fares), Xpress Value (15 kg check-in bag fares), Xpress Flex (unlimited changes with no change fees), and Xpress Biz (business class seating with complimentary Gourmair meals and priority services).
Travelers now have the option to personalize their trip as a part of the airline’s ‘Fly As You Are’ initiative – “our promise to make travel more convenient for our guests”.
Xpress Biz fares are available on all new Air India Express Boeing 737-8 aircraft, disrupting the traditional Low Cost Carrier (LCC) model.
