The all-new Hyundai i20 is all set to launch in India today. The India-bound car was first revealed for international markets earlier this year. All-new Hyundai i20 was revealed via pictures last month, followed by the company opening Hyundai i20 bookings in India on 28 October. The company will offer the upcoming Hyundai car in India across four trim levels, namely, Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta (O). And these will be further organized into 24 variants. Set to compete against cars such as Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Figo, etc., the car comes loaded with plenty of modern provisions, including a 10.25-inch infotainment system, fully digital instrument panel, cruise control, automatic AC, ambient lighting, etc. based on the selected variant.
The 2020 Hyundai i20 will be available with a choice between three engine options: a 119 bhp 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a 82 bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine, and a 99bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine. For transmission, buyers will be able to choose between a manual gearbox, an IVT automatic, a dual-clutch automatic, and an iMT gearbox based on the engine they choose.
The Hyundai i20 2020 price in India will start in the vicinity of ₹5.5 lakh and go all the way up to around ₹10.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
