Anantnag’s 75th birthday to be celebrated in city: On September 3, a series of events will be held in the city to honour the actor Anantnag on the occasion of his 75th birthday and 50-year film career.

The Kudla Samskritika Prathisthana and Anantnag @ 75 Felicitation Committee will host the events from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the T.V. Ramana Pai convention hall in Kodialbail.
On September 4, Mr. Anantnag reaches 75 years old. On Sunday at 9.30 a.m., he and his wife will be brought to the venue in procession from Canara High School, Dongarakery.
Following the opening session, he will interact with attendees at the venue. Other activities will include singing his film melodies, nritya, and similar activities.
Since his debut in Manthan, directed by Shyam Benegal, Mr. Anantnag has appeared in over 300 films. According to a press release, he also appeared in the Tulu film English Yenk Barpujji Bro.
