Battle Royale Apex Legends will soon be available on smartphones. Chad Grenier, Game Director on Apex Legends confirmed this report. Notably, a mobile version of Apex legends was announced two years ago but EA has now shared the first regional beta tests. The great thing about these regional beta tests is that India is one of the two countries that EA has chosen for these tests.
Apex Legends Mobile is specially designed for touchscreens, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in the most advanced battle royale combat available on a phone. It’s a new version of Apex Legends, but it’s true to the original.
Apex Legends Mobile: Launch Date India
As per EA, Apex Legends Mobile beta will begin this month. Pre-registration for betas in India will be available by the end of this month when local betas will be out.
Apex Legends Mobile is keeping things small to start—just a few thousand players in India and the Philippines—but over the course of this year EA is planning to roll the game out to more regions and more players around the world.
Apex Legends Mobile beta tests begin this Spring 2021, and will only be available on Android devices. As EA continues with testing, they will expand the size of these tests and will implement iOS support.
Will Apex Legends Mobile feature cross-play with other versions of the game?
Most PC and console gamers have this question in mind whether Apex Mobile will feature cross-play or not. Because Apex Legends Mobile is being built especially for mobile, it won’t feature cross-play with the console or PC versions of Apex Legends.
Will Apex Legends Mobile be free-to-play?
Yep, like PC and console, Apex Legends Mobile is free-to-play and never includes paid items that grant a gameplay advantage. Apex Legends Mobile will feature its own Battle Passes, collectible cosmetics, and unlockables unique from those found in the PC and console versions of Apex Legends.
Is the regular Apex Legends team also working on Apex Legends Mobile?
Yes. Developers have built a dedicated team at Respawn filled with experts in mobile game development to lead the creation of Apex Legends Mobile, but it’s a collaborative effort with the established Apex Legends team and other partners.
