Apple Event Date Leaked: Apple is known to hold its annual iPhone launch ceremony in September. There have been numerous rumours and disclosures regarding the upcoming iPhone 15 Series, which may feature USB-C, thinner bezels, and much more. Apple is reportedly preparing for its Fall Event in the third week of September, according to a tip received by 9to5Mac.
Apple Event Date Leaked: Apple Plans to Introduce the iPhone 15 Series on September 13
According to the report, mobile carrier employees have been instructed not to take leave on September 13. According to employees, this notice was issued because a significant phone launch was scheduled for that day.
The sources did not corroborate that the notice referred to the imminent release of the iPhone 15. Apple always holds its iPhone Launch Event in the first two weeks of September, so there is a high probability that this will be the official date for the Apple Event.
If we consider September 13 to be the release date, we can anticipate iPhone 15 pre-orders to begin on September 15 and shipments to begin the following week.
Some variants of the iPhone 15 Series, particularly the iPhone 15 Pro, may be delayed due to display production issues, according to previous reports. LG’s OLED panels reportedly failed quality testing, so the company will not provide displays for the impending iPhone.
A Korean publication reported a few days ago that Samsung has begun mass-producing OLED panels for the iPhone 15 Series. It appears that only Samsung was able to achieve OLED panels with thinner bezels and dynamic island openings. LG and BOE, the two other main competitors, failed to meet Apple’s quality standards.

Apple iPhone 15 Series: Previously Leaked Specifications
Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 15 Series will feature the A17 Bionic processor. We may also see a variant with more RAM this time around. However, these enhancements may be exclusive to the Pro models.
According to unverified images, all four iPhone models will likely feature a hole-punch cutout and a dynamic island. Apple may still reserve the 120Hz ProMotion display for its Pro variants.
The cameras on the iPhone 15 Series will be upgraded with a new 48MP sensor based on Sony’s IMX9 technology. The ultra-wide camera may not be updated this year, as it was upgraded last year. Reportedly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will include a 12MP periscope lens with 6X optical magnification and a LiDAR sensor.
