Comedy Show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is yet again ruling the news headers and this it revolves around the chair king Navjot Singh Sidhu.
After Sidhu’s comment on Pulwama attack created quite a stir on social media and made #BoycottKapilSharmaShow trend on Twitter, the channel decided to throw Navjot out from the show. It is said that actress Archana Puran Singh has been roped in for now and has reportedly shot for a few episodes as well.
Reacting to the rumours of replacing Navjot on the show, Archana told a news provider that she has shot two episodes for the show in his absence but hasn’t been approached for Navjot’s replacement. She said that she will think about it if she is approached.
It had started after Navjot made this comment post the attack, “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished”.

Sidhu’s statements have been received with harsh criticism and since then Twitter along with other social media platforms has been flooded with posts demanding his removal from The Kapil Sharma Show.
The cowardly attack, that happened on the fateful night of 14th February, 2019, has shook the nation. At least forty CRPF personnels were killed and more than five were injured in Jammu and Kashmir when Jaish-e-Mohammed’s suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 350 kg of explosives into a bus having 70 CRPF Jawans on board, in Pulwama district.
