So the cat is finally out of the bag! Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor’s wedding date is out. The internet is buzzing with news that the lovebirds will exchange wedding vows on April 19. While the couple has been extremely hush-hush about the entire wedding announcement, things could not be hidden from us.
Our well-placed source spills the beans that Malla will walk down the aisle on April 19. The invitee’s list will, of course, have to-be-bride and groom’s close friend circle like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and their Bandra girl gang, with whom the couple usually hangs out. We also hear that Arjun’s BFF Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are also on the guest list.
A few weeks back, it was reported that the couple’s impending wedding is slated to take place in April. While Malaika brushed off the news saying it’s all “media made”, Arjun had said he will talk about it when the time will come.
You may recall, we had reported that in spite of Malaika’s denial, the whispers in the circuit are that the duo has given strict instructions to their staff to keep themselves totally dedicated to them and the wedding. Their core team- including hair stylists, make-up artists- were told to be tight-lipped about all the arrangements.
Arjun and Malaika’s secret relationship was first reported way back in 2010 when the couple was spotted sitting next to each other at IIFA awards. The couple became official in 2018 when a picture of the couple walking hand-in-hand in Milan, leaked online. Post that, a number of teasing videos of Malaika and Karan on the sets of India’s Got talent, series of get-togethers of Malaika and her girl gang with Arjun Kapoor, followed by their dinner dates and finally Malaika confessing on National TV that she likes Arjun, “this way or that way”- their love story has unfolded quite gradually.
