Gauhati: Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday tabled the annual budget at 2 pm in the state assembly amid reports of budget allegedly being leaked online, which was later denied by parliamentary affairs minister Chandramohan Patowary.
The Budget, however, is expected to be a boon for 30 to 40 lakh families as it includes schemes that are expected to take the State towards progress and development.
