Assam Forest Recruitment 2023: Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has announced a massive recruitment campaign for 2,649 positions in the Assam Forest department. Eligible and interested candidates have until February 6 to submit applications at slprbassam.in. Form submission does not require an application fee.
Assam Forest Recruitment 2023: Details about the vacancies:
- Forester Grade 1: 264 posts
- Forest Guard: 1,226 posts
- AFPF Constable: 981 posts
- Driver Constable: 36 posts
- Driver under Forest Department: 142 posts.
Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university or its equivalent may apply for the Forester Grade 1 position.
For the position of Forest Guard, a High School Diploma or its equivalent is required. The minimum educational requirement for AFPF Constable positions is a high school diploma or a 10th-grade equivalent.
In addition to an HSLC, candidates for the positions of Driver Constable and Driver within the Forest Department must possess a valid LMV, MMV, or HMV driver’s licence.
As of January 1, 2023, the age limit for Forester Grade I, Forest Guard, and Driver positions is between 18 and 40 years old (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on orafter 01.01.1983). The maximum age limit for AFPF Constable and Driver Constable positions is 25 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed for candidates from reserved categories.
In addition to educational requirements and age restrictions, candidates must also meet physical qualifying requirements.
