Badshah Tatiri Song: The controversy around rapper and singer Badshah’s new song ‘Tatiri’ has grown bigger in the last few days. What started in Haryana has now reached Uttar Pradesh as well. Several people and groups have raised objections to the lyrics and visuals of the song.

After the criticism began, Badshah apologised for the content. He also removed the song from all music platforms. But the issue has continued to grow as more complaints and protests have appeared in different places.

The matter became more serious after Aparna Yadav, who is the vice-chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission, wrote a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In the letter she asked the state government to take strict action against the singer. She also requested that Badshah’s stage performances should be stopped in Uttar Pradesh until the case is properly investigated.

In her letter she said the song includes content that insults women and harms social values. She wrote, “The song uses abusive language against women and contains objectionable visuals. Even a sacred place like a school has been referred to using inappropriate expressions. Such content severely undermines women’s dignity.”

Aparna Yadav also claimed that some scenes in the video show schoolgirls wearing uniforms in ways she believes are disrespectful. According to her, such scenes send a wrong message to society and can affect young audiences who watch the video.

The issue has become more important because Badshah is scheduled to perform in Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh on March 20. The event is called “Badshah Magic World.” It has been advertised as a two-hour live entertainment show.

The programme is expected to include music along with digital magic acts. Organisers say the show will feature elements like mind reading, telepathy, and visual effects. One of the attractions mentioned in the promotion is a “live dinosaur” act.

The show is being promoted as family entertainment. But the letter sent by Aparna Yadav has created uncertainty about whether the event will take place as planned.

In her request to the Chief Minister, she asked that district magistrates across the state should be told not to give permission for any of Badshah’s concerts or public performances until the controversy is resolved.

Police Cases in Haryana

The controversy first began in Haryana after several people objected to the lyrics and scenes in the music video. Soon after the complaints, the Haryana State Women Commission issued a notice to Badshah.

The commission asked the singer to appear before it in Panipat on March 13 and explain the content of the song. Renu Bhatia, the chairperson of the commission, strongly criticised the track. She described the song as vulgar and said it objectifies women. According to her, such songs damage the dignity of women and spread harmful ideas in society.

The dispute has also led to police action in the state. Reports say separate FIRs have been registered in Panchkula and Jind. The complaints claim that the music video contains obscene material and that some scenes were shot without official permission.

Officials from Haryana Roadways have also raised objections. They said a state transport bus shown in the video was used without authorisation.

Another part of the controversy is linked to a government school in Sachha Khera village near Narwana. Authorities say that scenes from the video were filmed there without permission. These scenes have also drawn criticism.
