About OCES
OCES stands for ‘Orientation Course for Engineers and Scientists’. The training program covers nuclear science and technology fundamentals in addition to discipline specific courses. Additionally, the completion of the course may also entitle many candidates for enrollment to M.Phil/M. Tech/Ph.D. program through the ‘Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI)’ a deemed to be university under the aegis of DAE.
About DGFS
DGFS stands for ‘Department of Atomic Energy Graduate Fellowship Scheme’. The DGFS fellows are paid stipend and tuition fees to pursue the M.Tech course. After completion of one-year course work at select institutes, the fellows undertake a one year project work, which is assigned and supervised jointly by Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and an institute guide. On completion of M.Tech, they are posted as Scientific Officers in DAE.
