The trend of questioning conflict of interest in Indian cricket has been around for some time. Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar and many others have come under the scanner. And now the Indian cricket team has come into the spotlight as BCCI asked them to quit their jobs at Public sector companies.

The BCCI, in a strict note, has asked Virat Kohli and his men to quit their jobs at public sector companies. According to reports, Kohli holds the job of a manager at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd and the Indian cricket board does not want him to continue there.

Apart from him, other cricketers such as Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, and Cheteshwar Pujara have jobs at public sector companies.

Earlier, Kohli has played many matches for ONGC in local tournaments. In fact, most cricketers from Delhi are offered jobs at ONGC. Even cricketers such as Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir have held honorary positions in the company.

This directive has come from the Committee of Administrators, who are ready to offer another contract to the Indian cricketers.
