Not everyone is a big fan of their birth name given by their parents. So why not change it, you will ask. The woman who was previously named Anamika Mazumder obliged to this and changed her name to ‘Supreme Imperium’. This change in her name flooded a lot of questions and confusion from the Twitterati as people were quite not sure how a person could do this in any reality.

As per an affidavit posted in a newspaper a resident of Bararankua village under Ramnagar police station in the East Midnapore district said that from March 1, she would be known by her new name of ‘Supreme Imperium’.

“Henceforth, I recognised and known as Supreme Imperium instead of Anamika Mazumder,” read the newspaper bit which is now viral.

This advertisement has created quite a stir among people asking various questions about the name.

The explanation for “Supreme Imperium’

One user even tried to explain the situation of ‘Supreme Imperium’.

“Here’s what I presume: Supreme Imperium is similar to the business name. She must have obtained some loan to purchase machinery and submitted quotations from Supreme Imperium ( can be real business or fake quotation),” a user tweeted his own explanation of the legal name change.

“Now, while disbursing loan bank will either issue cheque/PO or directly NEFT/RTGS in Supreme’s name. Guess what, after changing her name, she can open he SB in Supreme Imperium, and then encash the cheque/PO or receive NEFT/RTGS in her own account,” he added.

This user has their own take on this situation.
