After a video showing a man dressed as astronaut walking on potholes shown as Moon surface went viral, authorities in Bengaluru got into prompt action and filled the potholes.

Street artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy, who recreated the moon surface depicting poor infrastructure in the city, today shared a video showing Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) filling the potholes. Taking to the Facebook, he wrote, “Thank you people for such an overwhelming response and support…Quick and prompt response from Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike.”

on September 2, Nanjundaswamy made an actor suite up as an astronaut, moonwalking on Tunganagar Main Road’s craters In a bid to depict the failure of BBMP in mending the potholes on roads. He represented the scenario of poor roads comparing it with astronaut walking on the surface of the moon filled with craters.

Nanjundaswamy has created more than 25 installations so far, all based on civic issues, and to highlight the bad conditions of roads in the city. His previous works include introducing mermaids and crocodiles to Bengaluru’s streets.
