Bengaluru woman who disappeared from ambulance, staged her own kidnap

On September 4th, the woman was declared corona positive after getting tested in the screening camp in Bommanahalli. Later, an ambulance came to pick her and since then the family thought she was missing. In fact, her husband had filed a complaint in the matter.

As per the latest reports, the 28-year-old Bangluru woman named Archana who disappeared after the ambulance picked her as she was tested positive for coronavirus had staged her own abduction and called it a runaway case.

On September 4th, the woman was declared corona positive after getting tested in the screening camp in Bommanahalli. Later, an ambulance came to pick her and since then the family thought she was missing. In fact, her husband had filed a complaint in the matter.

However, the BBMP recently confirmed that there was no such screening camp and they had sent no ambulance to pick Archana. The Bengaluru police asserted it is a runaway case which was planted by the woman itself.

According to the police, Archana had a fight with her husband after which she decided to run away from the house and took help from some friend who sent the ambulance at her place and faked the coronavirus positive test. Archana was a customer service executive.

On September 8th, the investigating office received a call from the missing woman which was recorded by him. Later, the voice was identified by Archana’s husband. However, the woman said she is safe and will clarify the matter with her husband.
